Did you remember my first post about MATLAB Fun Toolbox? Yup, it is about MATLAB Code for TicTacToe. In this code, I use ‘getpts’ function to get user’s input from mouse click. Unfortunately, ‘getpts’ function is the part of MATLAB Image Processing Toolbox. Therefore, those who does not have Image Processing Toolbox installed in MATLAB will not be able to run this code. Thanks to Mark Untisz for noticing this.
So, last night, I decided to create another version of my TicTacToe. It uses popupmenu uicontrol instead of ‘getpts’ function to get user input. Thus, this code can be executed without any specific toolbox requirement. Its interface is quite different from my first code but the AI algorithm is still the same. Here is the look of TicTacToe Lite Version.
Note that this new code is solely created to accomodate those who does not have MATLAB Image Processing Toolbox in their MATLAB. As usual, you can download both version of TicTacToe in my MATLAB Fun Toolbox page. I hope you can enjoy these code, especially you, who does not have Image Processing Toolbox.
